Towards Consciousness

Towards Consciousness, awakening

As a child, I had the impression that the people around me were deliberately not telling me something. Meanwhile, I was looking to find out what I knew or could understand on my own. Later in life, I noticed that many human manifestations—instinctive and moving, intellectual and emotional—seemed disconnected from each other. I wondered whether people calculated the consequences as a mathematical result of their manifestations.

Nowadays, based on my practical work to awaken, I understand that the Greek word “Συνείδηση” or “syneidisis” (“co-knowledge”) signifies our internal guidance. It indicates our higher right in any given moment. This guidance may come after we have merged millions of “I’s” under one collective “steward” that protects our highest priority.

The ability to be aware of our actions and their consequences is our birthright, set by the divine laws that rule the cosmos. We forget and waste this divine endowment in the course of our life. We lack attention. Are we asleep or aware of our state? And to what degree? The ability to balance the functions of our five lower energy centers leads to a higher scale of harmony for our body, soul, and spirit. In this state we more deeply understand that the universe creates our inner energies and its cosmic laws.

Repeated study of the various and  precious sacred traditions and our personal repeated verifications of their evergreen wisdom helps us move towards consciousness. We improve our body’s force by discovering how to balance our functions. Our spiritual force, our “syneidisis,” allows us to accept the divine endowment that we use to expand our consciousness.

Embracing these three forces, and seeing how they are align among themselves, we develop ourselves and we transform ourselves. We heal, in order to be reborn.  Through knowledge, self-observation, and personal verification, we raise our “syneidisis.”

We can understand the principles of universal laws, such as the law of Three, the law of Seven, and the law of Fate. Perceiving and recognizing our emotions, we learn to live without identification, fear, or passion. We redefine our various defenses by disassociating from our old I’s, our hysterical “I have” and our stereotypical “I am.” We reassert our priority to keep harmony within our five lower energy centers.

And we find our balance again, preferring the shortcut of the heart, the fourth lower energy center, according the Fourth Way Tradition. Practing this way of the heart, we invite an imperceptible energy to enter from higher centers, objective consciousness. This enlightenment accompanies our existence forever, while we live with our functions and, eventually, without them.

Man’s endeavor to awaken expands his spiritual force over his functions and carefully constructed defenses.  Engaging these three forces, a man opens his consciousness. Through the growth of being he can he serve his sacred duty. This is to reconsider, reevaluate, and rebalance these forces of the body, the soul, and the spirit. And to continue to breathe out conscious harmony.
