Ordinary Bushes

Once upon a time I went walking

And my soul it suddenly appeared

Just here in front of these bushes

In a space that had just been cleared

They said roots they had in the soil

And received the wind, and rain and sun

Said they were not a denying force

To my soul seeing the universe as one

And into the bushes my soul entered

Its fingers by the gentle wind caressed

The rain drops wet kisses on its cheek

In union with the sun’s light so blessed
